🚀 Horizontally Scalable Ingestion

After Outbid’s viral launch broke Vemetric’s ingestion, I rebuilt the part of Vemetric that turns incoming events into sessions, devices and the data you see in your dashboard.

Vemetric’s ingestion can now scale horizontally. If there’s more traffic, more workers can be added, instead of the queues growing and your data being delayed. On top of that, each event now needs a lot less work to be processed.

Check out the blog post to learn more about what changed, how it’s tested, and what I want to improve next.
